Rekindling Venus

The London 2012 [Arts] Festival is full of odd and enigmatic events, many I find to lean in a pagan direction - if nothing but in name only.

Take Rekindling Venus for example.  It's an underwater(!) art project that is connected to the Transit of Venus, taking place during the astronomical event.

Venus is of course, Lucifer.  This "rekindling" seems to say they want to "call up Lucifer."  And you can see by what's on their website (above) they are all about the new age that 2012 promises.
