Blue Moon

Today is also a Blue Moon - kind of fits with Neil Armstrong's funeral and Diana's death anniversary...

Briefly: The unavoidable Michael Jackson

No matter how I want to avoid writing about Michael Jackson on this blog, it seems I have to - because he's connected to almost every single aspect of the lives of the other people who are in focus in 2012.

For starters, he was the "king" of pop, married the "king" of rock and roll's daughter.   He named two(!) of his children, "Prince" and was big friends with Princess Diana.

Such good friends in fact, that his Neverland Ranch was adorned with the coat of arms of Diana's children...

One difference in the crests seems to be the face of the lion - B U T the Order of the Garter crest is somehow(!) still on there!
He was the "moonwalker" and as I have already shown, Prince Charles was crowned Prince of Wales the same month and year as Neil Armstrong's first Apollo moonwalk.

The "moonwalk" and Thriller (the song) both are associated with the moon and therefore Princess Diana.  Thriller (album) was released the same year Prince William was born (1982.)  That same year he recorded music for the E.T. movie.

After his death, the Cirque du Soleil ran a long show about him (it's still going) and now we learn that the first thing Madonna did after learning she had the half-time Super Bowl gig was to get the CdS involved in planning the show.

I could go on and on - but I don't want to.

2012 Olympic logo, Part II

Don't these look more similar than the "Lisa/Bart Simpson" thing you've heard about?
The picture on the above right is of course of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles, July 1, 1969.

And what else happened in July 1969?

Now compare Neil Armstrong with Queen Elizabeth...
"Neil" and "kneel" - get it?  Is a joke being played on us? Is it that 'in your face?'

And don't forget this little guy from Part I...
