Another note about 'monks'
Someone left a comment comparing "munk" (in chipmunk) with "monk"; I poo-pooed that saying the "munk" suffix actually came from the word, "mink", which is correct.
Having said that, "monk" correlates well with the Templar Knights, who were also referred to as "monks."
