Let's forget the London Games Opening Ceremony (per sae) for a moment and think about the Opening Ceremony in Beijing.

How many astute historians recall that Russia invaded Georgia that very day, when no one was looking?

Will the same thing happen in 2012?  Bet on it.

Who will the attacker be this time?  Syria to Israel?  Israel to Iran?  Iran to US Navy?  US to Iran?  Iran to Israel?  Egypt to Israel?  Russia to Israel?  Russia, Syria, Iran to Israel?

You can almost bet on one of those scenarios; whether it will be a large incident or a small one.  You were warned.

10 Days until Phobos-Grunt

http://news.discovery.com/space/phobos-grunt-reentry-january-15-120104.html

This means the crash of Phobos-Grunt should occur in the middle of the Youth Olympic Games, which is an official Olympic event.

Where it lands should provide more clues or a solution of something to look for - or the crash itself might be the finality of what we are looking for; however, since an Olympic event will be going on during the crash, I suspect whatever happens will be a point to the Summer Olympics.

On the other hand, this is a *crash* event and crash/smash has been associated with Marilyn Monroe and February of this year.

And on another hand, January 15th is the anniversary of the very first Super Bowl in 1967...

It is also the anniversary of an ermergency landing of a airliner in the Hudson River in 2009... however, that wasn't a crash and I wonder if it has any significance to this event?

We'll just have to see.

Remind you of the Venus Transit?

Nice-sized quake shakes a Russian town not too far from Kyzyl.

Kyzyl's crest looks like this:

And that may remind you of the Venus Transit for 2012:

161 days away...

Fallen stars/princess (Part II)

A couple of days ago I posted this:

As a matter of fact, it was on the "one year to go" date of December 22, needless to say, a very important date.

Yesterday...

This literally can be seen as fallen star as the girl in the photo is named "Sterre" (Stars) or princess as she is dressed as a princess.

Phobos-Grunt

I had originally read the date of the Phobos-Grunt crash would be January 6-19. I read something else that read December 31st- January 6th. It seems the original dates are the correct projection and the timeline (on the left-hand side of the screen) has been changed.

Fallen stars/princess

It's all about the date.  ISS (Isis), "stars" and yesterday for the liftoff of the craft Soyuz  ("union") to the ISS.
