I have a bit of Vulcan on the mind from a previous post, but diamonds are formed, deep under the surface of the Earth. They are brought to the surface carried by magma.
Just made be think of the fallen angels enclosed in a lake of fire under the earth who are to rise to the surface at the last judgment.
