Just heard that a bear was tranquilized (in Vancouver) as it came out of a garbage truck... just as I finished reading this polar bear story. I live in BRITISH Columbia.
That's correct (actually means arctic bear) - you may have also read recently about polar bears being cannibals - lots of O D D polar bear news past 2-3 days.
