August 5, 2012 will be the 50th anniversary of Marilyn Monroe's mysterious death.

England's Rose II? | |
Not only is she an "MM" - but the anniversary will occur during the middle of the Olympics and the day before the landing of Curiosity ("
killed the Cat.")
This also recalls Elton John's "Goodbye Norma Jean" which is the same music for Diana's, "Goodbye England's Rose" as well.

And remember, the Olympic Stadium in London features a "yellow brick road," also recalling John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road."
A lot of ominous symbolism to be dealt with during the Olympics, wouldn't you agree?
Ouch 'Curiosity' killed the cat ... I am right now searching for a cat that dies because when you mentioned the 'shaving eyebrows' in the 'Will Rise' post because you hinted at it and I found this on Wikipedia:
ReplyDeletehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cats_in_ancient_Egypt
"Herodotus also wrote that when a cat died, the household would go into mourning as if for a human relative, and would often shave their eyebrows to signify their loss."
Namaste,

Wow Deckard! Nice, nice find!
ReplyDeleteSomething I found this morning as well, is that the eyebrows and "twinkling of the eye" [related to Goth. brahw "twinkle, blink," in phrase in brahwa augins "in the twinkling of an eye"]are also related. "Twinkling of the eye" is a Biblical phrase used to describe the rapture of the church.
