The ArcelorMittal Orbit compared to artist's rendition of the Tower of Babel |
The Europeans are fascinated with the Tower of Babel. The European Union parliament building also resembles the Tower of Babel:
Trying to recreate the tower of Babylon (or EYEful tower - again bringing back the "all seeing eye" or Horus concept) only adds to the perplexity of proof piled up against those involved in the various preparations so that 2012 is going to be all it's cracked up to be.
After all, we've been told ad nauseum that 2012 is the "end of the Mayan calendar/end of the world."
I don't know how they call it but it's the ugliest piece of construction I've ever seen.. Interesting to see if in the end it's gonna be 115 m high as 115 is William's army number (as per Golden Boy)
ReplyDeleteWhen you have time Jeff you could write a few words about the London Eye.
London Eye (also close by is Cleopatra's Needle) are worth noting but neither really aren't in the vicinity of where the games are being held.
ReplyDeleteit may be not in the vicinity of where the games will be held nonetheless it will play a major role in the Olympics. First of all the owner's name is Merlin Entertainment (are you kidding me, Merlin??). Diana is known to have said shortly before her death regarding William: "I believe Wills can rebuild Camelot and I will be his Merlin". Still see no link? Restoring the Camelot? Merlin entertainment and the eye of London?? What about the one eyed Wenlock and Mandeville? I think the EYE has everything to do with these Olympics
