US Troops on Jordan-Syrian border

I'm going to assume (now that I think about it) that the troops amassed on the Jordan-Syrian border are the evacuating troops in Iraq in the news the past few days...

    Amos 1:3 I think this area is called Gilead. Till now it didn't make much sense why Damascus would attack an area in Jordan.
