Plans for the £500,000 vessel to carry the Monarch during her Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant on June 3 have been dropped – because of concerns over health and safety and security.
However, that boat is only the small lead boat I was reading about yesterday. There still is the large boat that will hold the Royal family as they gallant down the Thames. The boat in the article is a handmade boat covered in gold and called the "Gloriana" - that is, unless I'm reading things incorrectly.
