William and manning the lifeboat

The first official act of then Prince William and Kate after their engagement was to christen a lifeboat (skip the Jack the Ripper headline):

And don't forget the now-Duke of Cambridge is all about rescuing drowning people at sea, aboard the Sea King.  He's already rescued at least 3 persons in the water.

There seems to be a striking connection here; I hope you are reading between the lines, especially after events this weekend.  It's all there, I won't/can't point it out in black and white.

    The name of the boat is a small clue...
    "Hereford Endeavor"

    Hereford definition:
    Any of a breed of beef cattle developed in England and having a reddish coat with white face, chest, belly, and lower legs.
