'Year of miracles' used again

I am a stark watcher and reader of the news.  But until I started this blog just two and a half months ago, I had never heard the phrase, "year of miracles" nor it's latin translation, annus mirabilis.

I've seen it now three times in that span, always used to describe the royal family in England.
