Angels seem to be thought of as robots/ puppets - genderless mindless servants.
Exactly what I am thinking. When I saw this odd thing (wasn't Lady Godiva on a horse, specifically?) - instead that have built this walking nephilim-like creature.
Godiva had long hair; this doll has rather short hair.
I wonder if anyone agrees with my Medusa comparison?
