Lady Medusa?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-coventry-warwickshire-11431449

In astronomy, the left eye of Medusa (head held by Perseus) is Algol.  It is known as 'the demon star.'

Algol is also the same as Ra's al Ghul, the enemy of Batman.

SPOILER (DO NOT READ IF YOU PLAN ON WATCHING THE DARK KNIGHT RISES MOVIE) -

Just as the Dark Knight rises from the dead, so does Ra's al Ghul, according to leaked info about the upcoming Dark Knight Rises movie.

Yes as I don't think they plan to introduce rasta culture into Britain for the Olympics I would also say her hair looks likes snakes.

I found an interesting article about Lady Goiva and her origins: http://weavingandmagic.blogspot.com/2011/01/lady-godiva-and-her-priest-king.html

This "tax" story never rang anyway ;)

Namaste,

A very nice find, Deckard. I suspected that Lady Godiva had it's roots in magick and was pagan and the link you provided (from a Wiccan source I might add) supports that.

Thank you for the link, comment and for being on the ball!
